Rubau, Balasch and Prieto have arrived safely at this crucial point of the journey into the unknown. After months of intensive preparation and a challenging crossing, the time has come to tackle the dreaded Drake Passage. One of the most dangerous sea routes in the world, a strait between the southern tip of South America and Antarctica, where gale-force winds and giant waves challenge even the most experienced sailors.
Unfortunately, technical difficulties with the satellite communication system have caused a temporary loss of fluid communication. However, the adventure remains intact, and the three members of the expedition are safe and sound.
